An Exceptional Hospital and an Incredible Staff Our family recently had to go through an incredibly difficult and frightening experience when my wife’s stepdad suffered a major stroke. During a time when we were understandably scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to expect, Wynn Hospital and its staff went above and beyond to make an incredibly difficult situation a little easier. First, the facility itself is absolutely beautiful. The brand-new, state-of-the-art facility is impressive, modern, clean, and welcoming. But as impressive as the building is, it’s the people who truly make this hospital exceptional. I especially want to recognize Alex, our nurse on 3W. He was absolutely phenomenal. From the very beginning, he was incredibly patient, compassionate, attentive, and 100% accommodating. He treated our family with genuine kindness and never made us feel like we were a burden, no matter how many questions we had or how much help we needed. If you need a hospital, you can be glad you have Wynn! I was transported to their ER from Rome Hospital by ambulance after a horseback riding accident. Rome sent me there because Wynn has the technology to monitor and treat internal bleeding. They made progress with tests throughout the night in the ER, and once those were complete they moved me to a private room with an entire wall of windows! Doctors Escano and Kushmakov were top notch diagnosticians, and my nurses (Lindsey, Beau, Dwayne, Abby and Natalie) provided considerate and competent care. I always knew what was going on. We had terrific experiences with Wynn Hospital, they did exceptional care for our elderly relatives, pregnant friends, and friends whom required surgical and post surgical care! ❤️ Most recently, we went through the labor/delivery/post pardum care for our second born and we couldn't have been more grateful! 🩵 The Nursing Staff was educated, attentive, supportive, and kind; Dr. Amankwah from Slocum along with Terry our anesthesiologist, and Nurses Ali, Lindsay, and Macey were exceptionally stellar! The rooms, lounges, and their views were beautiful and modern. The cafeteria was the quality of which you'd find at a University! The security, parking, layout, and wifi were all well thought out and made it simple-- All these factors and the plethora of options in NorthEast Utica made it hard to leave! They provided so much to us and we are confident there couldnt have been a better location within the State to entrust our growing family with!

I brought my daughter to the ER at Wynn Hospital after she had been feeling sick for a couple of weeks and wasn't getting any better. We were worried because no one could seem to figure out what was causing her symptoms. From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional care. She was triaged right away and brought to a room. Nurse Devon was absolutely amazing, kind, compassionate, attentive, and reassuring throughout our visit. He made a very stressful situation much easier for both of us. Dr. Andonian was outstanding. He listened carefully, took our concerns seriously, performed a thorough evaluation, and explained everything clearly. Most importantly, he was able to diagnose my daughter after weeks of being ill. Because of his knowledge and attention to detail, she can now begin the treatment she needs, and we finally have answers. I cannot thank Nurse Devon, Dr. Andonian, and the entire emergency department team enough for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication. Their excellent care made all the difference for our family. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did and hope they receive the recognition they truly deserve.

Excellent. Best visit to a ER I memory. Everyone I came in contact with including the Officer at the door was pleasant kind helpful. The primary who took care of me was excellent in every way. She was pleasant, kind, very knowledgeable, extremely competent, did a great job stitching my hand. I must say it was painless. Everyone went above & beyond it was a great experience for a change!
